Optimate.me and Evolution Marketing Have Merged

We are thrilled to announce that optimate.me, a New Zealand-based software consulting firm and Evolution Marketing, an Australian-based company operating in the same field, have officially merged. After over a decade in the same industry, both organisations recognized the alignment of our values and goals and the potential for an even stronger future together.

The journey began two years ago when Tom Risbrook, director of optimate.me, and Darren Flood, director of Evolution Marketing, initiated discussions about joining forces. Today, we are proud to share that we’ve sealed the deal and are now united under the optimate.me brand, operating both  in New Zealand and Australia.

The optimate.me name and brand will remain, marking this as a significant moment in our journey as we transform into an international company. By merging, we are “bigger and better together,” expanding our capabilities, reach and the value we deliver to clients.

Tom Risbrook, the CEO of the new optimate.me entity says: “We have been working with Darren and his team at Evolution Marketing for some time with regard to a potential merger and are pleased to announce that the deal is finally complete. There are a range of benefits that this will bring to our customers on both sides of the Tasman, and these include access to a deeper resource pool, detailed knowledge across a wider range of products and an easier ability to integrate systems so everyone can talk from the same page. We are also aiming to remain true to our brand by helping customers' 'scale with software’ and reducing some of the risks associated with implementing software solutions.”

Darren Flood, the new COO of optimate.me adds: “Optimate.me and Evolution Marketing are very similar organisations and we have both been working for over 10 years on helping companies scale with software. We really like the optimate.me brand and culture and feel that it accurately reflects the mission of the business and supports the growth of our Australian team and our Australian clients. We want to stay focused on process transformation across our 3 domains: marketing, sales and service and we are looking forward to working in a larger Trans – Tasman team to make this reality for our customers.”

What Does This Mean for Our Clients?

Nothing changes for our current or future clients in terms of service quality or ethos. We are still committed to our mission of offering bulls**t-free advice and delivering meaningful solutions that help businesses scale with software. We stay focused on removing pain points so our customers can focus on what matters most – growing their business via best of breed software solutions.

Our clients will now benefit from a wider team of experts across New Zealand and Australia, providing enhanced support and access to a broader range of services and a deeper resource pool. We are also excited to expand our product portfolio across the key domains that we specialise in: Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience.

We are committed to continuing our legacy of delivering exceptional value, just as we have done for more than a decade and are looking forward to helping Australian and New Zealand companies to scale.
