Fern Energy, the business that keeps New Zealand’s Primary Sector moving and SugarCRM, provider of the award-winning AI-driven CRM platform, today announced Fern Energy has upgraded its existing SugarCRM solution to Sugar Sell Premier.
Recently rebranded and previously known as Southfuels, Fern Energy is a New Zealand-based nationwide supplier and distributor of bulk fuel. The company focuses on end-to-end fuel solutions for customers from Kaitaia to Bluff. Its business has grown in a recent amalgamation with Farmlands Fuel. Because of this growth and geographically diverse customer base, the ability to gain granular visibility of customers with an easy-to-use CRM solution was critical.
“As our business expands with the recent Farmlands purchase, we continue to benefit from an accurate, unified view of the customer and all the attributes associated with the customer so the staff can all talk from the same page,” says Chris Gourley, Fern Energy National Sales Manager. “SugarCRM and the added functions such as more data, access to the Advanced Analytics, and better Google Maps integration, fit our requirements perfectly.”
Sugar Sell Premier is SugarCRM's flagship solution offering comprehensive sales force automation capabilities for complex businesses with built-in AI and enhanced functionality.
Gourley goes on to say, “optimate.me have been a supportive business partner for the last three years, guiding us in the right direction."
Elaborating on the support optimate.me provided during the transition, Gourley said:
“When it came time to upgrade to Sugar Sell Premier, it was a no brainer. optimate.me knew our business and our challenges and helped us to navigate and execute the changes. This meant we could continue to do what we do best, without disruption to our business or our customers.”
Tom Risbrook, optimate.me Director said:
“Our objective when updating existing or implementing new software for our clients is to make sure we take the stress out of the process. We understand all the pain points of the business so we can solve the problems. Then we train their team so when it’s time to go live, things go off without a hitch.”
